WHY DISRUPTHER EXISTS
Talent is everywhere. Access is not.
Women continue to face barriers entering and advancing in industries that offer strong wages, career mobility, and opportunities for ownership. Training alone does not solve that problem.
DisruptHER was created to help close the gaps between interest, preparation, opportunity, and advancement.
We build pathways that bring together workforce training, supportive services, hands-on experience, industry relationships, employment and apprenticeship connections, and entrepreneurship support—so women have more than an introduction to opportunity. They have a pathway forward.

DisruptHER was founded from a firsthand understanding that entering a nontraditional industry takes more than ambition. Women need access to information, preparation, equipment, relationships, real-world experience, and opportunities to put their skills to work.
That understanding shaped a model built around the entire journey—from recruitment and workforce readiness to hands-on experience, industry connections, employment, entrepreneurship, retention, and advancement.
Today, DisruptHER brings women, employers, contractors, training providers, apprenticeship programs, community organizations, and industry partners together to build stronger pathways to economic opportunity.
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Nicole “Coco” Hunter
Nicole “Coco” Hunter’s connection to nontraditional industries began long before DisruptHER.
In 2015, Nicole began her aviation career with Delta Air Lines as a ramp agent, working in a predominantly male environment and becoming one of very few women on the ramp performing hands-on aircraft operations—including marshaling aircraft into position and pushing aircraft back for departure.
She later moved into Delta’s Stores operation, managing and issuing aircraft parts used by maintenance teams, and advanced into a lead role. Nicole also served on the safety team, helping ensure employees followed safe work practices in a demanding operational environment.
Her career later expanded across aviation, learning and development, workforce training, corporate environments, and entrepreneurship before bringing her back to another safety vest—as the owner of JINSUI Construction Clean Up LLC.
Those experiences shaped the foundation of DisruptHER: talent alone does not guarantee access, opportunity, or advancement. Women need pathways that prepare them, connect them, support them, and create opportunities to move forward.
The vest never really left. The mission just got bigger.
